Router Authentication
There are two ways to control the WTFast software.
The Web App is the main User Interface for everyday usage and game acceleration
The Control Page - this page is used for general health checks and troubleshooting (more info here)
First step is to authenticate your router
Open the WTFast control page on the router - http://mywifi.mercku.tech/wtfast/
In order for your account to know the router and vice versa - you need to authenticate your router with your account.
Clicking the Authenticate Router button will send you directly to our Web App and apply the authentication operation.
If you’re not logged in to the app you’ll need to login with your WTFast account before the authentication operation will complete.
After you authenticate your router this screen will offer you to reset your router
Clicking reset router here will delete your account details from the router - please reboot the router after this operation to fully delete this information.
See your router in the Web App
boost.wtfast.com - our Web App is the primary app to control your router, open sessions and see your network statistics.
After login, and before you authenticated any router it will be empty
Once you have authenticated your router with your account in the Web App (above step) it will appear in the router information box (make sure this router is selected in the dropdown on the top right hand side).
If you don’t see anything - just refresh the page (Ctrl+r)
Device management
Device detection & device type automatic identification
Once the router is authenticated WTFast starts looking for connected devices in your network.
Please allow up to 3 min for this operation to complete every time you connect a new device.
A device is discovered and then move to initialize status. This might be very quick or take a few seconds.
The end state for a device is online status. If your device reached this status it means WTFast is ready to listen to traffic that comes from this device
Device Type - The correct device type is necessary for the proper operation of our software.
WTFast makes an effort to identify the correct device type. But this automatic identification is not guarantied to be correct - its the user responsibility to make sure the Device Type is correct!
To validate your devices are identified correctly - hover over the Device Status to display the device its MAC address
Archived Devices
Archived devices - If a device is not identified by WTFast it will not display in your main dashboard as ready to be used. It will be stored in the Settings area.
Assigning a device type will send this device to the Dashboard and once its online it will be ready to be used.
If you want to archive a device that appear in your dashboard but is not a gaming console - use the archive button and it will go back to the list of Archived Devices in your Settings.
Offline devices
Currently device that go Offline (disconnect from your network) are not recognized in real time as Offline.
The device will be recognized as off line only if WTFast’s router software is restarted
