Get your games accelerated - open a session

WTFast software on your router only listens to traffic once you’ve instructed it to do that = opened a game session through the Web App.

1. It does that until you ordered it to stop the session.

2. If the router is rebooted or WTFast on the router is restarted any previously opened session will continue to be open.

When you open a game session you specify the device you’re going to play with and the game you want to accelerate. WTFast then identifies traffic that is related to this game, that is coming from the specified device.

1. Any other traffic won’t get accelerated or reviewed by WTFast.

2. The game traffic is getting accelerated to the game server through WTFast GPN.

For proper functionality of the application it is advised to stop the session once you actually finished playing.

Choose the device you’d like to play with in the main panel

You can search the games you want to play in All Games filter, or see your favorites and recently played games in the other filters.

Clicking the play will start a session on the WTFast software installed on your router.

The device status should change to “listening” in green.

Your game’s network statistics will start showing up on the main panel once you start playing a game on the device. Before you play the game the screen will look like this:

WTFast will start listen to the game network and accelerate it once you start playing.
Once you start playing you’ll see the connections table filled with data. These are the game connections WTFast accelerates over its GPN.

Data received and sent is only calculated for closed socket connections.

After a few seconds you’ll see WTFast latency measurements are kicking in, and provide and estimated savings for you packets.

For some games we capture traffic prior to the start of the actual match (for example in the Lobby) - please ignore the statistics you see until you are in the match itself (WTFast is designed to only accelerate your most important game traffic that effect your character speed and reactions)
