WTFast will NOT work properly if you are running a VPN at the same time. If you have a VPN, please make sure it is closed while you are using WTFast

Basic instructions to make sure WTFast on the router works properly

  • Make sure you have internet on your router. If you don’t have internet go to Router's WTFast Controller App and stop WTFast from running to rule out any relationship between internet issues and WTFast. Then check again. (Do not reboot the router since WTFast start running once router is back on).

  • If you suspect the router is the issue you can reboot the router. However if its specific to WTFast usually a restart of the WTFast software on the router is enough. Instructions on restarting the WTFast router software are in Router's WTFast Controller App.

  • Wait 2 minutes after WTFast is back on.

  • In boost.wtfast.com logout and back in, and clear cache.

  • Make sure you chose the right device and make sure that if any session is still open (a device is still in listening status) you stop the session and the device is back to online status.

  • In Router's WTFast Controller App logs should be cleaned once you restarted the WTFast router software. If not - delete old logs.

  • Try to open a game session and play. Write your play time, game name, and any other important event that happened in game.

  • Once you’re done playing - if you still experience issues - send the logs (fetch them from.. you guessed correctly - Router's WTFast Controller App) and your report to our support team or contact a WTFast employee in our Discord server - https://discord.gg/FvgFySvsXr

Router troubleshooting

In order to troubleshoot the router in case of issues or if feedback should be provided to the WTFast team.

Whenever there are severe or unexplained issues it always good to perform a router reboot.

A reboot will:

  1. Reset the WTFast router software

  2. Upon reset previous WTFast logs will be deleted! - if you need to extract those logs to help us investigate your issues please do it previous to the reboot

  3. Once the WTFast software starts over - WTFast will automatically set itself to listen again to the same device and game that it was listening to before the reboot!! (if this was the case).
Please consider this when going back to interact with the WTFast Web App.

  • WTFast softwae on the router is still in Beta! Please consider waiting 1-2 after reboot (or just plain software restart) after the router is back online before trying to make any operation.

WinSCP provide an easy way to interface with the router. Here is how to use it:

Download WinSCP from their website - WinSCP

After installation create a new session (make sure your PC is connected to the router's network):

  • Protocol- SCP

  • Host - router's IP

  • Port - 22

SAVE - for faster access

If you need to run some command lines- there's a terminal for that
